Lenten roses, also called hellebores, are evergreen perennials that bloom in early spring with long-lasting flowers. They are easy to care for—plant in partial sun to shade in well-draining soil, keep the soil moist, and fertilize once a year. They're great for adding some color to shady areas, like under trees. Deer and rabbit resistant, and pollinators love them!
