Nalls is proud to work with multiple food pantries in the area. As we continue to expand these partnerships in the community, we are excited to offer you an easy way to donate fresh produce for their use: the “Share-a-Share” Program.
Why We Started the Share-a-Share Program with Rising Hope
What we hear from our partners regularly is that their clients are hungry for fresh fruits and vegetables! Non-perishable items are of course very much appreciated but what they are always asking for is produce. Donations of perishable items can be difficult, which is why there are so many options for donating canned goods and boxed goods but not as many for fresh items. We have a solution, and you are a big part of it.
What is Share-a-Share?
Our Share-a-Share program provides a way for you to donate fresh produce to one of our food pantry partners, Rising Hope. Share-a-Share was built using the structure of our Crop Share subscription produce box to provide an assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables to those in need in our community.
How You Can Help
Choose to make a one-time donation equivalent to one (1) or more shares – up to a full year (48 shares) of produce.
Or with our new subscription-based option, you can make a recurring donation of 1 -4 shares each month. With each donation, Nalls will pack additional Crop Share boxes to be picked up by Rising Hope for the duration chosen.
Produce donations may be used in various ways to support all Rising Hope community outreach programs, most will be offered to individuals & families in the Rising Hope Food Market or used to prepare community lunches in the Rising Hope Kitchen.
Tax-deductible receipt will be provided by Rising Hope. Donor information will be shared with Rising Hope for this program. Nalls Produce & Garden Center is not a non-profit organization and cannot issue tax-deductible receipts.
One-Time Donation
1 - 4 shares donated onceWith this one-time donation, you can make an impact whenever you want. This option provides one week (1 share) to one month (4 shares) of produce to Rising Hope. Choose from 1, 2 or 4 shares as a one-time donation. You will be charged once for the number of shares selected.
Recurring Donation
1 - 4 shares donated per monthThis recurring monthly subscription provides consistent support to Rising Hope. Choose from 1, 2 or 4 shares per month as an ongoing donation. You will be charged once a month on the first of the month for the number of shares selected.
One-Time Donation
12 - 48 shares donated onceCommit to a season – or more! – of share-a-share donations. This option provides 3 months to a year of weekly donations of produce to Rising Hope. Choose from 12 to 48 shares as a one-time donation. You will be charged once for the number of shares selected.
Donation Options – One-Time or Recurring
With the one-time donation, you can make an impact whenever you want. You will be charged once for these donations based on the number of shares selected. Starting at $25 per share, you can donate one week (1 share) to one month (4 shares) of produce to Rising Hope. Or commit to a season (or more!) of donated produce to Rising Hope by choosing the quarter – annual donation option, starting at $275 per quarter.
Our recurring donation option provides consistent support to Rising Hope by choosing to donate 1-4 shares per month on an ongoing basis. For this option, you will be charged once per month for the number of shares selected, starting at $24 per month.
