Nalls’ First Annual Tallest Sunflower Competition

Seed Pick-Up: May 25th through June 12th • Submission Deadline: August 31st

Neighbors of all ages are invited to join Nalls’ first-ever Tallest Sunflower Competition. Stop by between May 25th and June 12th to pick up your official sunflower seeds (we recommend planting them as soon as possible!). Entries are due by August 31st, and the top three tallest sunflowers will win prizes. Please review the rules below, and let’s fill our neighborhood with giant sunflowers this summer! This competition is an official Passport Event, and passports can be stamped at pick-up.

Competition Rules

1. Official Seeds Only: Only sunflowers grown from the approved Nalls seed pack are eligible.

2. Entry Limit: One entry per person.

3. Growing Method: Must be grown outdoors in soil (no greenhouse or hydroponic entries).

4. How to Measure: Measure from the ground to the very top of the flower head using a tape measure or yardstick.

5. Photo Requirements: Entries must include a photo of the participant, the tape measure, the sunflower, and something Nalls-branded (like the seed packet).

Email your submission to info@nallsproduce.com by August 31 with the subject line “2026 Sunflower Competition.” Please include your name, your sunflower’s final height, and a photo of your sunflower in the email.

How To Submit Your Entry

Email your submission to info@nallsproduce.com by August 31, 2026 and include “2026 Sunflower Competition” in the subject line. Your submission photo must include you next to your sunflower, a visible tape measure or yard stick, and something Nalls-related (your seed packet works, or official entry signs will be available closer to the deadline).
