Who We Are: Our Mission and Culture

About Nalls Produce

What started in 1961 as a young Cary Nalls selling vegetables from a wagon on a dirt road has grown into a thriving, family-owned business spanning multiple generations. Over the years, we’ve expanded to offer a wide variety of plants, seasonal produce, and unique local goods—but our commitment to quality and community has never changed.

At Nalls Produce, we are passionate about bringing our community the best in fresh, local produce, high-quality plants, and a welcoming, family-friendly environment. We believe in great customer service while sharing our love of gardening, delicious food, and fun farmyard friends with everyone who visits. And through programs like Share-a-Share and partnerships with local charities, we’re always looking for ways to give back to the community that has supported us for so many years.

Nalls Produce is more than just a workplace—it’s been a staple of the Franconia community for over 60 years, filled with friendly faces, beautiful plants, and the best local produce around. Our team enjoys a variety of tasks, from helping customers pick out the perfect plant to caring for our beloved animals like Penny and Arnold the pigs, BooBoo the cat and AJ the chicken.

No two days are quite the same at Nalls; whether you’re stocking fresh-picked peaches, setting up seasonal displays, or lending a hand in the garden center, you’ll be part of a hardworking team that values collaboration, creativity, growth and learning, and plenty of fun along the way.

If you love working outside, enjoy interacting with people, and want to be part of a family-owned business that’s been growing since 1961, we’d love to have you on the team!
