In the month of December, Nalls transforms into a Christmas tree forest! Visit us for the freshest trees, greenery, handmade wreaths, and special seasonal products.
Christmas Trees
At this time of year, the garden center is full of beautiful Christmas trees. We receive several deliveries every week to ensure fresh, hydrated, healthy trees that will last weeks and weeks. We have trees in several different varieties, shapes, and sizes – perfect for any size of holiday celebration. Primarily Fraser firs, but also White Pine, Douglas Fir, and Turkish Firs. Most of our trees are cut, though we always stock some small live Christmas trees that you can plant and enjoy for years to come.
We are a full service Christmas operation – pick out your perfect tree, and we will give it a fresh cut, bundle it up, and tie it to your car for you. We have all the extras as well – tree stands, tree disposal bags, tree dipsticks, and tree preservatives – so you can ensure that your tree will look perfect throughout the holidays.
Wreaths & Garland
We also stock fresh wreaths and garlands/roping for holiday decorating. All of our wreaths are handmade by us on site for maximum freshness and uniqueness – no two are the same!
With the proper care these easily last 3–4 weeks. Just spritz with tap water every couple of days, or mix in Prolong with the water to extend their life even more. Or make your own wreath with our fresh garlands and greenery cuttings – including boxwood, white pine, cedar, magnolia, and winterberry.
We also stock small evergreen trees and poinsettias – classic Christmas plants to liven up your home.
Seasonal Products
Throughout the season, we also cary several special products that are only available around Christmas time. We are decked out with cookie mixes, chocolates, candles, stocking stuffers, and EGGNOG. Our eggnog is the thickest, creamiest, most delicious eggnog in the world. It’s from grass-fed cows at the local dairy – South Mountain – that does our milk. Crazy decadent, it’s like a milkshake. We typically only carry it in December, so try it out before it disappears for the season – it will definitely convert even the eggnog-stic members of your family. We also have seasonal ice cream flavors from South Mountain – including peppermint cocoa.
Gifts
And Nalls is a great shopping destination for the localvore in your life! If you have a foodie in your family, get them a tin of Nallspice, or some of our incredible local honey. Or if you want to send a taste of Virginia to someone far from home this Christmas, get them some locally made jam, pickles, or salsa.

Our pumpkin wall got a holiday makeover! It’s especially stunning when it’s lit up after dark. Come visit to take holiday photos anytime during our open hours.

Friday, December 20th through Sunday, December 22nd, get 20% OFF everything you can fit inside the provided stocking. Gift cards and punch cards are excluded, but anything else that is small enough to fit completely within the stocking is fair game—gourmet jams and jellies, sweets, condiments, natural candles, soaps, plant care products, and lots more awesome gift-able items!
