How It Works: Adult mosquitoes are lured to the bucket to lay eggs. A specialized Mosquito Dunk tablet in the water releases Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti), a natural bacterium that kills larvae before they can mature into biting adults. Bti is people and pet safe!
Timeline: Because this method stops new mosquitoes rather than killing existing ones, it takes roughly 2-3 weeks of consistent use to see a significant reduction in your local mosquito population.
Neighbor Cooperation: The more buckets in a neighborhood, the faster the population collapses. Encourage your neighbors to set up their own!

This kit includes everything needed to build a Mosquito Bucket of Doom, an natural and cost-friendly alternative to broadcast spraying. Unlike broadcast spraying, which only targets adult mosquitoes and can harm beneficial pollinators like bees and butterflies, this bucket targets the life cycle from the start.
